Start with excitement and enthusiasm
With a great excitement and enthusiasm we started this year’s Nepal-Japan Project 2010 from Holy Himalaya Hotel to Chitwan on 3rd March 2010. We headed towards our destination at 7:30 am via roadways and reached there at about 4 pm. In that travelling duration we observed various landscapes, mountains, rivers and Nepalese students shared information regarding them to Japanese students. It was a good learning and sharing experience to both countries’ students. We had lunch at Hamlet Highway Resort which is situated in between the hills on the way.
Sunset...
We reached to our hotel at about 4 pm. We went to view sunset at the riverside of Rapti. All the students were very happy and excited. Some were playing with the sand, some were throwing stones in the river, some were clicking pictures and some were playing in the water. It even helped to break the threshold between the extremely different cultured students. It seemed like all the students and other members forgot the tiredness of the day and were on full energy. Then after we all returned back to our hotel and get ready for dinner. We had our dinner at 7:30 pm. after dinner we all gathered together in the hall for the tomorrow’s plan discussion. Leaders made slight change in the school activities that are going to do tomorrow. The discussion cleared the confusion among us and had a clear picture regarding tomorrows’ plan. With this our briefing session of first day at Chitwan ended.
